There is a PDS Pistol together with Carbine Operators Guide which comes with each and every Rock River Arms Piston Driven Pistol & Carbine.

Here is the url to the Rock River Arms PDS Pistol and Carbine Operators Manual

My Web site dealer Class 3 Weapons, is the the largest dealer of Rock River Arms in the U.S.. I understand now exactly why they're the largest dealer in the United States, Class 3 Weapons made available the best price, shipping charges were reasonable and what's even better NO SALES TAX because I was out of state. Fantastic! Class 3 Weapons shipped to my area dealer without delay. My local dealer performed my NICS check and I took delivery. It was just that straightforward. Class 3 Weapons also carries a lot more than just Rock River Arms. Presently they are offering Shotguns For Sale and extensive selection of Tactical Rifles, Tactical Shotguns, standard rifles & handguns.

Range Report for my Rock River Arms PDS Pistol

I had a good time at the range shooting my new PDS pistol. I tried out a bunch of various optic combos. Overall for near situations I liked the Veridian. Nevertheless for lengthier distance shots I discovered it handy to use the Eotech 552.I like the RRA PDS Pistol's complete length top mounting rail, from the rear of the receiver to the regulator housing, allows for the versatile placement of numerous optics, lights, lasers along with other gadgets.

I attempted a good number of different types of ammo and seem to like the 65 gr. Based on what I've read, 65 grain is most effective for a gun barrel with a 1 in 9 twist. I shot from the hip while using the green laser and the bench for extended shots with the red dot. I thought the PDS might have extra kick without the buffer. But the Proprietary Ambidextrous Non-Reciprocating piston system performed the same function nicely.

All round, I am happy with the purchase. The piston system definitely works cleaner inside the upper receiver without powder residue.

I was on Rock River Arms web site and it appears to be they've an innovative Tri-Rail intended for the PDS Pistol. I may probably want to get one of the Tri-Rail handguards shortly. The handguard has been alright in the typical version, nevertheless I think I like the awesome factor of the Tri-Rail Handguard. Here's the Tri-Rail Handguard I'm talking of Rock River Arms PDS Tri-Rail Handguard from Rock River Arms

This will most likely offer you a much better concept of the Tri-Rail layout right here..... Rock River Arms Tri-Rail

New RRA 2011 PDS Pistol is finally here

I at last got hold of my Rock River Arms PDS Piston Driven System pistol via my favorite hometown transfer dealer. I have been saving up my gun dinero for about a entire year because it was launched in 2010. I haven't had a chance to shoot the PDS pistol yet, but I have already been amassing some components for the PDS pistol while I was saving my dollars. Listed here are the specific features just as delivered through my online RRA dealer from RRA

Caliber: Rem .223/ 5.56 NATO for 5.56mm & .223 cal., Upper Receiver: Proprietary, with Extended Top Rail, Charging Handle: Proprietary Ambidextrous Non-Reciprocating, Barrel: 8" Chrome Moly, 1:9 twist, Muzzle Device: A2 Flashhider/ 1/2-28 TPI, Trigger: Rock River Arms NM 2 Stage, Grip: Hogue Rubber Pistol Grip, Handguard: Injection cast, Ribbed, Magazine: 30 Round, Weight: 5 lbs, Overall Length: 17.5 in .

The RRA NM pistol has a retail price of 1,385.00. I wound up ordering it on-line for much less. Most dealers in my area wanted retail plus which didn't set well with my budget. Once I get to the shooting range I will have some follow up information on accuracy and what ammo I will be using. I forgot to mention, the accessories I purchased was a Veridian green dot to mount on the rail just forward of the handguard and a Eotech 552. I don't know which kind of sight I will go with yet. Regardless which way I go, green laser or red dot, it won't be wasted because I possess a couple of RRA Rifles inside the safe that I'd like to try either on. I'm off and away to the shooting range….
